Tommy joined our staff in 2017. A lifelong Lawrence native, he got his start in animal care with creatures that are a tad more exotic. He has had internships at the Topeka Zoo, and at the Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari in Ashland Nebraska. Tommy continues to volunteer at the Topeka Zoo in addition to working here, and caring for his cat, Prancer. He loves caring for scaly animals just as much as the furry ones.
