Dr. Rena Heimsoth
Dr. Heimsoth grew up in Sedalia, Missouri with her twin sister. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Truman State University in 2015 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2019. She was thrilled to join the CPAH family shortly after and made Kansas her home.
Her interest in medicine came from her mother who is a nurse practitioner and her sister who will become a Physician Assistant. The passion for helping those that cannot speak for themselves led Dr. Heimsoth into the field of veterinary medicine. She loves that she gets to help strengthen the bond between humans and animals on a daily basis. Veterinary medicine is always changing and she is excited to continue learning along with it.
When Dr. Heimsoth is not in the clinic she enjoys hiking and being outdoors or baking up new recipes for her work family. She is a lover of all things Disney and still considers herself a kid at heart. She is always up for a new adventure and is excited to see what the future holds.
